Nautical bedding is a traditional boys' favorite and it "grows up" well with you child. Navy blue and crisp white are usually the colors of choice in nautical bedding theme designs, but you can also include sandy colors and subtle coastal green tones. The same objects that are found in nautical bedding designs can help decorate the bedroom: models of sailships and lighthouses, pictures of coastal landscapes, steering wheels and anchors hanging on the wall. This bedding theme, as some others, can also be extended into the bathroom (if your child does not share it with anyone else).
It should be noted that for an adult with the taste for maritime activities nautical bedding can be a legitimate choice of a theme, at least if it is meant for a vacation bedroom near the ocean or even a major lake.
